Let’s Recycle It Ltd | 2022 A Year In Review

Christmas is almost here, which means the New Year is not far behind. With this being such a good time to look back over the year just passed, we felt it would be the perfect opportunity for us to revisit everything we achieved and everything we overcame in 2022.

At the beginning of this year, we were still very much feeling the effects of the coronavirus pandemic. The country was still under pandemic restrictions as it battled the Omicron variant and businesses were still struggling. Let’s Recycle It was by no means immune to this; restrictions made the day-to-day running of our business harder.

It was harder for our team out on the road to travel to our clients’ sites, less overall waste was being produced due to the general reduction in economic activity, and managing compliance and logistics was made more difficult due to COVID-19 regulations.

We are proud of the fact that we navigated our way through this challenging time without having to let go any staff or scale back our operation. The commitment and dedication our team showed to our clients and to the recycling cause allowed to us to keep moving forward despite the obstacles before us.

As the year progressed, restrictions eased and the economy began to open up again, we were perfectly positioned to hit the ground running and start building up momentum. Ultimately, this year became a strong year of growth for Let’s Recycle It, as we were able to expand the scope of our operation across multiple domains.

We have added many new members of staff throughout 2022, both out on the road and in our compliance office. Adding to the number of staff we have out on the road made us much more available to our client base, and the increase in our office staff made us a much more efficient outfit. This has also allowed us to expand to cover a much broader area of the United Kingdom and Ireland with much greater regularity.

Increasing the scope and capacity of our business has allowed us to sign up many new suppliers to our waste management services, as well as grow our network of global end users. Ultimately, this has allowed us to take more plastic waste away from landfill and incineration and match it with the most suitable reprocessor to keep these valuable resources in use within the economy.

This push towards a circular economy is at the very core of what we do here at Let’s Recycle It Ltd; while we are extremely proud of how hard we have worked to recycle the thousands upon thousands of tonnes of plastic waste that we do every month, we are not satisfied yet. 

In 2023, you can expect the growth of Let’s Recycle It Limited to continue. More office staff, more road staff, more suppliers, more end users and more plastic waste being recycled. We are beyond excited for what next year will bring, and we are very excited for you to come along for the journey towards a circular economy with us.
